Accounts Payable Supervisor

We’re looking for a detail-focused finance professional to join our Finance team and take ownership of Accounts Payable . In this role, you’ll ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time, nurture positive relationships with suppliers, and help maintain strong financial controls across the business.

It’s a hands-on role where your attention to detail, independent judgment, and proactive approach will make a real difference.

WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO

Own Purchase Ledger Management.
 Process and manage invoices, match to purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate supplier records.

Build Strong Supplier Relationships.
 Reconcile supplier accounts, manage statements, resolve queries, and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Manage Payments & Cash Flow.
 Prepare and process payment runs, handle ad-hoc payments, and monitor aged creditors to ensure timely settlements.

Support Financial Reporting.
 Assist with reconciliations, credit card postings, accruals, and ensure accurate, audit-ready financial records.

Ensure Compliance & Controls.
 Maintain adherence to VAT regulations, HMRC requirements, and internal financial controls, supporting audits where required.

ARE YOU OUR PERFECT PARTNER?

• Experience in Accounts Payable within a UK finance environment
• Strong understanding of VAT and HMRC compliance
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident working independently and managing multiple deadlines
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Clear communicator with a proactive, team-focused approach
